For the women, full national teams are allowed in the Olympics. However, only a small number of teams are eligible for the Olympics, so some top teams are absent.
Combined those policies ensure that Olympic soccer will never surpass that of the World Cup or the Women's World Cup.

Olympics is more vary so it offers ppl of all walk of life some thing to watch. FIFA is specialized for football addicts, which are, in term of number, prob larger than Olympics.
However, neither one would involve India 1.3 billions good for nothing....
Even in Criket Game, India+ Paki+Banladesh (1.6 billions) are not always a dominent force....
So perhaps India should propose an Olympic of Curry eating, corruption, cronyism of the incompetent fools, then may be they would always get Gold Medals...
Of course its olympics. Just look how many people watch olympics and FIFA. There a big difference. Only football fans watch all games,but the majority only own team play.

Obviously FIFA world cup is most popular, because it's a great and big event for Football than any other.

there is only one sport in fifa and in Olympic there are lots of sports and opportunity.
since soccer is a gay sport that only women and children should play, the Olympics are much better
