Do I have a shot at the 2016 Olympics?

You certainly have a shot to go to the Olympics.

Depends on what country your from or trying to qualify for, how much you improve in the next three years. Basically if your from USA you have no chance because only 2 swimmers per country. If you are from a country that doesn't normally send many swimmers to the olympics then you must meet these qualifying times listed below in long course meters.

Olympic A Standard Qualifying Times for 2012:

50 Free- 25.27

100 Free- 54.57

400 Free- 4:09.35

Here are your times converted from Short Course Yards to Long Course Meters:

50 Free- 27.29

100 Free- 59.19

400 Free- 5:16.77

Your only off by a couple seconds in 50 and 100, but your not even close to where you need to be for a 400. Like I said USA and other big swimming countries already have a ton of swimmers beating those qualifying times, so if they thought had potential you would be in the system competing at grand prix events.

Trainers would have approached you already if you had a shot. They dot hust throw the teams together last minute. i guess you could try for the the 2020 one

Yes you can do it just keep practicing btw congrats

I'm a 15 year old competitive swimmer. Do you think that I have a shot at the 2016 Rio Olympics with these times:(in short course yards)

50 free: 24.04

100 free: 52.32

500 free: 5:55.42

Even if everyone says I don't, i'll probably try anyways, but i'm just curious to see what people think. Because my club team coach says I might have a chance but idk...
