Supposedly it was because Martin needed to be "toughened up" according to reports out of South Florida and other teammates were in on it. My guess is that those other teammates were not aware of the racial slurs and hate language Incognito used when he went off on his voicemails. Apparently the Dolphins cut all 6 players in the off season who were on their Leadership Council last year, so major lack of leadership on the team. Philbin will take the fall for this one.
