I am a guy and i want to do cheerleading, but i don't want to go up stage and do what they do. I want to learn what they do, learn a few tricks, and compete, but not go on my school's stage because they like to point fingers and joke too much. And the boy's uniform is....eh. It's just a burgandy apron-or that is just what i saw from my school's performance. Also, what types of other things you do in a cheer group? I know there are flyers, but is it the only thing? Any answers plz thx :P

I think you should go for it! I personally think cheer is amazing and any guy brave enough to do it is amazing! As someone already said you don't have to join with your school you can do allstar cheer but it's more work and more money.

In cheer there are tops thirds and bases the bases hold the weight of the top and the third helps then balance something's there is a forth who is there for extra support there is also jumps a dance stunts and tumbling in cheer

instead of joining your school cheer, join allstar cheer! its so much more fun, and they need guys. and with allstar cheer there is no pointing what so ever. plus you do all the comps and you get way cooler outfits. plus in the cheer groups you do jumps stunting and tumbling. also you stay together as a team. like you go do things together and stuff. I say join allstar, its a lot more fun and waay better than school cheer clubs or squads.
