Okay for the fall I either want to do Field Hockey or Volleyball. But the thing is when I tried out for Field Hockey my Freshman year (I'm a sophomore now) I didn't make the team but that was because I was always late to tryouts. So I understand I was at fault, I then did Volleyball and that taught me discipline. But I'm really short (4'10) but I can jump really high (that's why I was able to spike the ball), and most of my team mates didn't even pass 5'5. But the thing was that during volleyball I was friends with all my teammates and I never once felt alienated. But during Field Hockey tryouts I felt kinda alone. But the thing is I know I can't keep playing Volleyball throughout my high school career. But if I tryout this last time I know I can make the team but I know I won't make it my Junior year
So should I try to play Volleyball one last year, or just do the inevitable an just tryout for Field Hockey?
Since you're not going to be able to play the rest of high school, I think that you can still be friends with the people who play volleyball, and maybe convince them to tryout for field hockey too! I'd debate which one you think you'd be the best at performance, and discipline. It also depends on wither you can play field hockey later in high school..BUT. Don't say you know you won't make it, there's always hope.
You could also talk to your friends and ask them what they'd do.
And has for feeling alone, your never alone on a team. Together Everyone Achieves More.
Volleyball!!!
Volleyball is the most common sport that girls do anyways so just do that
Choose the one you are best at.
