You could also have your child participate in individual sports such as running (cross country/track), swimming, bowling, golf, gymnastics, cheerleading, tennis, badminton, ice skating/figure skating, ballet, tap dancing, Irish dancing, instead of team sports like soccer, football, baseball, softball, volleyball, lacrosse, hockey etc.
hahaha wow let you child be an individual accept him/her as they are, dont force a child to become normal, if your child has an issue making friends let him ease into it and if he doesnt, accept it as his personallity and talk to him and care for him and make your child feel as a equal person as possible.
let him pick what sport he likes.
