Total fuc*ing brat. And no, there was not a lifetime of extreme training, shes only 16. Shes barley old enough to drive let alone have a lifetime of training. Sure she trained hard and should be disappointed but that's not an excuse for snubbing the other extremely capable athletes that competed in the vault. She should be proud that her country gave her the opportunity to represent the rest us as one of our best, but instead she acted like a spoiled, ungrateful child on the world stage. And yes the scoring was showing a ton of favoritism.
lol You must have never tried to hold back tears. When you try to hold back all the emotions like that, your face will come across as that. It's called using all your might to not cry in front of everybody. Believe me, the Russians would have looked exactly the same had they not gone full out balling. I want to see how you handle the disappointment of a life of extreme training and work getting blown on one bad landing, and see if you can not come across as a bad sport. She at least hugged the Romanian, not like she isolated herself
Technically, she never turned away. She stood there eyes closed and completely focused on not crying. It's kinda hard to see someone wants to hug you when you don't see it.

Your are right. She should be grateful to win anything. A lot of athletes go home with nothing.
Not really, people call her the best vaulter in the world, and she lost the gold medal because of one bad landing. I would of been pretty pissed too. Probably even more pissed than she was.
