How do these people become so god damn flexible like that?
I'm trying to get flexible as well, maybe not enough to do my splits but enough to be able to spread my legs without something cramping up.
It depends on how you were born. You can only increase your natural flexibility by 20% no matter how much you try. Women due tend to be more flexible than most men but there are certainly men who are flexible. It has to do with your natural bone and muscle structure. Everybody has different body limitations. Not everyone will be able to do a split. That doesn't mean you should try to become more flexible. Always warm up before you do any stretching or you will get injured. Never stretch to pain. There is a difference from being a bit sore and real pain and you have to never go to pain or you will do irreparable damage to yourself.
I used to do gymnastics and every day we had specific things we had to do to maintain our flexible posture ect. try stretching everyday and just work on going lower and lower each time you do splits &

i'm doing the same! I do stretches everyday i follow these video's, they really help! i want to do middle splits btw so these will definitely help and don't get cramps either:)
