I enjoy watching MMA, I used to enjoy a bit of WWE every now and again, my biggest gripe isn't that it's staged or predetermined (I worked that much out for myself when I was about six) the reason I don't watch as much WWE as I did when I was younger has never been about the wrestler's toughness, the problem is that the characters these days are dull and the storylines even duller.
Bring back the glory days when wrestlers were a mixture of superheroes and stereotypes.
Depends on what kind of fighter and what kind of wrestler. If it's an MMA fighter vs. a wrestler from WWE, the MMA fighter is going to win every time. However, if the fighter is some punk off the street vs. someone trained in Greco-Roman wrestling, my money is on the wrestler.
No.
Wrestling is a grueling sport, the conditioning is insane, Greco-Roman, freestyle and catch wrestlers are in great shape.
Now, if you are talking about fake wrestling, MMA fans just don't care.
yes wrestlers do a lot of damage to there body whether it is predetermined or not. and yes they are tough, so tough most get addicted to pain pills. fighting is something different where you can prove what you're worth. anyways this is a section for martial arts questions not arguments about wwe vs mma.
No one is tougher than Hulk Hogan...no one.
You can't generalize for all MMA fans so the question is rather moot.
Because Wrestlers are more of a joke...?
Even though one is fake and the other is real does not mean wreslters do not take punishment. Fighters only fight once a month or something last I checked yet wrestlers are there 5/6 days a week working matches and in every match they take physical damage due to the content of the entertainment as well as the occasional big fall.
