Yea i was wondering if i could do gymnastics but dont want my friends to call me gay. It looks cool and i want to work out because im not gunna lie im a little fat. Also i have never done gymnastics and cant do a cartwheel can i still learn?

Totally! There is absolutely no reason a guy can't do gymnastics (they do have mens Olympic gymnastics after all) It'll depend on your friend whether they're going to call you gay or not (even though there isn't anything gay about it in my opinion)

You shouldn't let that hold you back, especially if you really want to do it. And it's not too late for you to start learning since a lot of gyms offer adult gymnastics classes (depending on how old you are. If you're under 18, you'll most likely be put in with younger boys)

Some gyms will require you to know how to do a cartwheel and handstand (and possibly rolls) before you can join the beginners class, but you can easily learn those from videos off of youtube and nobody says they have to be perfect.

So to end with, guys doing gymnastics is not gay. You would think more guys would want to do it since the girls have to wear leotards in class.... huh..

Go ahead ! I don't know the quote for gymnastics but here's a guy cheerleader one ~ oh yeah , make fun of the guy cheerleaders. You don't spend all evening lifting hot girls in shorts and have them obsess over your muscles~ so give it a go and if they call you that , they're not your friends

Most of my friends (all girls) think that guys who do gymnastics are hot XD. I really think you should give it a try, it sounds super fun. I'm overweight and I'm gonna give it a try nonetheless. They probably won't call you gay, it's actually quite intense and dangerous, and therefore exciting.

Tons of guys do gymnastics and they all have awesome bodies & muscles!

Only ******* do gymnastics

Well if you do it you will get to be extremely strong so if people laugh at you you can challenge them to a half-lever competition and then laugh at them as they fail abysmally.

And yes, you don't have to have skills or be super fit to join. That is why they have classes.
