Cheerleading Help: Flyer can't get up?

I'm on the freshman team and a flyer. I don't exactly know the terms of these things, since we just started. :/ Anyhow, whenever I try standing when they put me up, I can never do it. They lift my feet up, and I try standing but I just can't do it. I might be trying to stand too late or something, I don't know. It's hard for me.

And I was doing this with girls with JV, even though I'm on the freshman team, so they could help us out. They were really encouraging, but I felt they were getting annoyed or something since I couldn't get it. And I felt bad. So I wanted to get help from you guys on it. Thanks. :/

Dont be scared/nervous. Remember that they have you if you fall. Straighten your legs and it won't give them such a hard time. Push off the bases shoulders to go up fast enough. Don't stand right when they get there, about mid-way is the best time. DON'T LOOK DOWN! That would be wayyyyyy worse. And if you feel like you are going to fall, go back not forward. What I did when I was a flyer was when they were doing the whole 1 2 down up thingy before they lifted my feet when they'd say up I'd push up from their shoulders so it would make it easier for them to lift me and easier for my to stand up.

Make sure when you're loading in right before you go up keep your elbows up and hold yourself up on their shoulders (if they let go off your feet you should still be staying up). Also, make sure your butt is up in your back spots face (weird but oh well) with your knees bent that way when the dip down to bring you up you push off their shoulders and lock your legs out. Imagine somebody is pulling you into your stunt by your shoulders. Hope I helped :)

Stay really tight everywhere even in your butt lol. And just let them throw you into the air
