You could probably learn a few more basic skills like handstands and maybe walkovers by watching youtube videos, but it's not very safe to practice the more advanced skills without the proper mats or without a coach spotting/critiquing you. Plus you're lacking the equipment if you want to learn vault, bars, and beam too. I'd suggest checking into gymnastics clubs outside of your city or you could see if the clubs in your city offer private lessons? And have you checked into if any clubs offer open gym? At my club we have two hours each Saturday where anyone can come for $6. Hope you find a club where you can practice at, it's a great sport!
No I would say it's not my safe.my cousin learned gymnastics from online sites and brooke his shoulder and now he will have severe arthritis from the injury. Plus you could only learn tumbling.
You can learn the basics I guess but without a trained spotter it could become very dangerous and if you don't have a correct techniques or skills it could be very fatal!
Yes and I would say YouTube and have your friends or family spot you and put down like a matteress or pillows and cushions just be really careful and pay close attention...also have who ever is spotting you watch a how to spot video! XD hope this helps
