Stretch, stretch, stretch! Any chance you get stretch it out, don't get crazy and pull any muscles though.
Sit on the floor, tuck one leg and kick the other out. Try to touch your toes on the outstretched foot, hold 20 seconds. Repeat.
Stretch yourself in a bridge position and pull your hand and feet together as closely as you can.
Work on handstands.
Hello, i'm trying out for my cheer leading squad next week. To answer your question, yes it is possible to become more flexible, but not flexible enough to do a split in 2 weeks. I started stretching to do my splits back in November, and as of March 2014, I can touch the floor. (Just not completely down yet). Make sure you warm up for at least 5 minutes, and take 10-20 minutes each day to stretch, making sure you take breaks. If you feel pain while stretching, ease up and don't push yourself too hard. Also, NEVER bounce when stretching, as you can pull a muscle!
warm-up so that your muscles are warm before you stretch, so you don't pull anything and so that you will get a better stretch. also, after you take a hot shower or bath start to stretch. this is totally gonna help you. also, don't stretch violently, and don't bounce your stretches, because your muscles are like rubber bands. another thing is that you don't wanna stretch to where it hurts really badly, but only a medium to little amount of pain.
Just do as many stretches as you can think of b4 u go to sleep and right after u wake up. Do them more than once, if its hurting its working
I'm sorry I'm not answering your question but could you please look at mine? It's about cheer
