If you can cheer without them falling off and they don't affect you or anyone around you, GO FOR IT! But if they constantly fall off and are in the way I wouldn't. Especially if you do flips and stuff. But it's up to you.
I'm sorry i didn't see your question 7 months ago. Being an optician i had several patients that were cheerleaders and wore glasses and or contacts. But they told me they would wear their glasses to practices but would take them off during practice and even they wore glasses full time they were still able to well enough without their glasses to cheer at practice and games. I'm sure your eyes are just a bit dependent on correction now because of wearing contacts all the time. But if you leave them off for a little while you may find your eyes are able to focus pretty well without them.
You sound really dedicated. Just explain what happened and let her know that the glasses will only happen for the next couple of practices and you plan on getting more contacts soon.
She will understand. Things happen in life. She will most likely be accommodating to the issue.
Good luck!!!
Well My best friend wears her glasses hers never fall off because hers fit her face/head really well if yours sort of slip off thats fine wear them still but when your tumbling cartwheels etc, just set them off aside other than that you'll be fine
if the glasses help you to see yea go and wwar them
