cheerleading help!?

Hi, recently i have been wanting to do All Stars cheerleading!!!! i am going to start next term because i want to do it with my best friend! i'm doing it for all stars galaxy! in central auckland which is in town.

i have previously done gymnastics so i have some experience. I would really like to be in the the semi elite team, do i have to be able to do everything? also i don't want to to be a beginner cheerleader because i want to compete and learn harder stuff and i think i can do that. :)

I can do a:

back walkover

one motion front walkover

handstand into bride then get up

go into back bridge and stand up.

cartwheel

round off

1 handed cartwheel

1 handed round off

aerial on tramp/almost on ground

front hand spring on ground

almost a back handspring on the tramp

right leg splits

almost middle splits

scorpion bent leg though

thats it mostly do i have to be able to do all of that properly??? or will they teach me and help me perfect my tricks. uniform now!

So for this uniform i need to be wearing for this peticular gym i know i buy it on a website called www.cheerbrandz.com but for training would it be better to a wear the team training crop top with some track pants or a pair of my sports shorts. Or the team singlet with the logo and some short?? also online you can only purchase the competition uniform the crop top and the singlet. i know you have to wear a bow in yr hair but they dont sell it on this website?? and so i need the special cheer shoes? thanks

To be on a harder all-star team. You need a back handspring. I suggest you work on it and when you're close, move to roundoff back handsprings. They are easier and running tumbling is more important.

For cheer shoes, get infinities. They last a long time and are great.

For your aerial, when you take your jump and step before the actually aerial, you probably are jumping up. You should jump out (forwards. As in bigger step) and whip your back leg around. I'm not sure if this makes sense

It sounds like you'd be placed on a level 2 team, just really work on your back handspring. Usually the gym will give you your uniforms and bows and if they don't, they will tell you where to buy them once you're placed on a team

I don't know what the levels are. But you would be level one and maybe level 2. You need a back handspring to be on level 2. Wait until you are on the team before you start buying uniforms and stuff. They will tell you exactly what you need to buy. They will make sure you get the bow and shoes so don't worry about it until you are officially on the team.

oh and also its still me who asked the question will they give me the bow i need to wear in my hair?
