No, historically the Paralympics are never as popular as the Olympics.
I work in London and can tell you that it's not actually all that busy there right now! The fear that London's ageing transport system would be packed to the gills and straining at the seams has not really materialised. It's always quieter during the summer school hols anyway, and I think many people (shoppers, theatre goers, day trippers, etc.) are giving London a wide berth because of all the dire warnings about how busy London was supposed to have got during the Olympics.
Yes, it's bound to get busy in certain places at certain times, as people arrive at and leave specific events, but you may find that all the shoppers and day trippers have started to creep back into London again by the time the Paralympics start. It's difficult to judge.
I went to the Paralympic in Sydney it was not as crowd. I did have to have a plan B for what sport I saw during the day a few times. 1 had 4 day pass and closing ceremony tickets. There was many schools children at the Paralympic games as part of the biggest school excision.
I ended at the swimming 2 nights and Athletic and wheelchair basketball once be choose.
There are less crowd but some have more people watch then others. When I saw athletic I could move around the stadium to see different events.
Sadly, no. Albeit worthy and deserving, tickets sales have been less desireable. Nonetheless, it is popular, but not quite as much as the Olympics. But how else would you have an opportunity to go to the Park. Go you will enjoy it.
No it wont.
I'm just wondering as I don't want to travel to London right now as it will be busy! Will it be as busy when the Paralympics are on?! Thanks!
