Has everyone here been watching a different Olympics? The beautiful game of football is in the Olympic !. My team New Zealand got wiped out 3 - 0 by Brazil. Its being played at all the Premiership stadiums such as Old Trafford and St James Park.
Football (soccer) is in the Olympics. American Football is not, because it is not popular in other countries. It is played in a few other countries of the world, but not anywhere near the skill as in the USA.
1. Not a male/female sport.
2. Requires at least 52 players & coaches. How many nations are going make half their olympic team just football players? Not practical.
3. It falls in the middle of NFL & NCAA training camp. Who is going to let their players go for a month. Then get hurt? Guys don't like the Pro Bowl now.......
4. Costs?
We only play football in America other countries don't play it. Their football is our soccer and that's in the Olympics
Because football is not a world wide sport. There are a lot of differences between the countries that play football (as in the rules that they play by).

Because football is for wimps i know i used to play football then i tried soccer it was like 7 times more difficult if u dont belive me try it
