Where do you go to qualify for the oylmpics?

You must hike up Mount Olympus in Greece and sacrifice a lamb (or goat) to the Olympic Gods.

Seriously each sport has its own feeder system for the Games in each country. Whatever sport you are interested in your first step would be to contact the governing body of that sport. The best place to start would be a sports club for whatever sport you are interested in in your city or a nearby city if there's none in yours. 16 is certainly old enough in some sports like diving, though in most sports you're just going to have an advantage if you are a little older because you will have more height and strength. They all require lots of dedication and practice so get going!

Depends on your sport, but if you don't already know the answer to your question then you're not going to the Olympics in 2016.

Your starting point is to find an appropriate sports club.

there are loads of events all over the world, all the time, this is basically what athletes do the rest of the year, not really covered well by the media.

16 is old enough

Oregon or Nebraska for track I know. I'm not sure about anything else, but track is in either Oregon or Nebraska. I think it's Oregon.

If you're good enough, they'll find you.

don't they hold some sort of event thing? if so where is it? if there's just one per country could you tell me where they are in GB and Ireland? by the 2016 I'll be 16 so is that old enough?
