They both have quite the following, but WWE has been around longer, so it shouldn't be a surprise that it would be more watched.
They're both entertainment businesses (sorry MMA fans, but your UFC and other TV shows of the like are listed under the entertainment category, right next to your much hated "fake" wrestling shows), so to simply see who's more "popular", all you have to do is find which makes more money since money is what a business is all about. That would be the WWE.
WWE only because there's a show every week. UFC doesn't happen as often as WWE and they're normally ppv, unless it's not that big of a fight.
I think WWE, because more people apparently knows about it like my mom. When I ask her "Do you know what UFC is?" she goes "no". But she knows WWE.

I can't watch WWE. It's fake and annoying. It's more like a soap opera with wrestling. I don't know know which is more popular but I don't watch WWE.
UFC in my opinion. WWE is just so fake.
