What high school sport is more difficult?

My friend keeps telling me that wrestling is for the weak and that football is 20x harder. He's an idiot right? Wrestling requires a lot of cardiovascular, strength, and explosive power. The training is like going through hell, and a 6 minute match of non-stop wrestling live takes a really tough man. Football players take more breaks on the field then when they run, tackle, or catch/throw a ball. So what's your opinion?

it just depend football your outside and you play through almost any weather from a humid 100 in pads or a rainy 50 even though the dont play alot its still a contact sport the has paralyzed and even killed people from helmet to helmet contact or tackling somebody wrong.but with wresling having to drop weight and not doing it the right way can take a toll on your health theres only ear protects which means you can easily sprain or break something in general they both are prettty hard and the difficulty you really cant know which is harder because it depends on the person medical condition and opinion and if they have even played both its easier to play football with a messed up knee but harder to play with a messed up arm

the average time the players of a football game play is 11 minutes and that's with 1hr 49mins of rest in between. Wrestling matches go for AT LEAST 6 minutes and are non-stop with maybe a short break in between periods and they require a lot more energy per minute. While I have respect for football players and the work they do, wrestling is much, much harder.

I agree with you. Wrestling takes more strength. Football is teambased and the plays last fairly short. If you're not the receiver, you just tackle and pretty much done. Even soccer takes more strength than football

Well idk, but football is the sport that gets the girls. :D
