3200 lbs WOW superman... Get into Muay Thai and you wont be overweight for too long. add some BJJ and you have your ground game and since most MMA gyms now cater forr both styles at the one facility you can get a deal that allows you to study both.
look i knew a guy obese 400 pound black guy who could do a back flip and did ju jistu he was a purple belt as long as you train and go to class you'll be fine

im looking to start a martial arts in the fall of 2014 for a good workout, most likely ju jitszu but looking into other option. im a bigger guy not a tub of lard if you will ,but i like to think im athletic. im 5'7 330 and can bench 3200lb. wondering if that is too big. also look for what type i should do looking into ju jitszu but i would also like striking, grappling, and ground game.i lift weights and was looking for another workout as well as some good self defense what would be a good one to match and why would it as well as some other options.
