Do you want 'your' country to win or lose?

Athletic - US is dominant in every olympics. we are healthy skinny and strong. you envy us and it shows..

Smart - China IQ is 32th; USA is 4th...the list goes on.

I'm choosing between Lobster and Steak tonight. I'm sure they can barely scrape some rice off the patty in China.

Dominant - well everyone already knows how dominant we are.. no need to make you cry any more little asian.

The sad thing is, that most asians are extremely jealous of Americans. That is why China is the laughing stock of the world.

The stereotypes about chinese people are true. Short, small, little genitalia, not as intelligent.

It is amazing being American. Strong, athletic, smart, and well endowed.. complete opposite of asians.

...

People are just depressing these days, since when does a bunch of people running around and swimming have anything to do with 'foreign policy' and 'indoctrinating the population'? If you don't like the UK, move to Somalia and I'm sure you're going to enjoy it more over there. Country isn't defined by the government, it's the people that make it. And people in Britain are brilliant, despite the fact they complain too much about the weather.

Athletes aren't politicians, so just enjoy the Olympics while you can. Of course I support Team GB, it's just sport ffs not an election.

The truth is it's not really about the country, it's about the athlete. Remember Rocky IV, Drago said, "I win for me! FOR ME!". Nationalism and all that stuff is just something to make oneself feel important. The problem with it is where your from doesn't make you a man, it's who you are or what you do.

So what I'm getting is that you're one of those anti-government hippies that is trying to mix sports and politics? I may not agree with some of my country's policies but nonetheless I have tremendous pride in my country and want them to win no matter what. If you don't like your country, then just move to a different one

Personally i couldn't care who wins or loses .

There are always going to be winners just as sure as there are gonna be losers . but the satisfaction is that regardless of who wins it was all done in the name of sportsmanship in other words the winners deserve their achievements regardless of which country they may be from .....

Dude, you can't even spell "humanitarian" correctly. Secondly, what the US does is of no concern to you. Thank you for not meddling. And lastly, you are correct. Your little hissy has bored me.

Personally, I don't give a hoot in Hell about those silly-@ssed games.

As you are not happy being UK resident which country do you think you would prefer to live in - serious question.

it really doesn't matter if you win or lose at least those athletes go out and play for there country and you shouldn't mix politics with sports

I like how you try to be deep about who people cheer for in the Olympics. Fail.

Now I think I know the answer. Is there anyone else that wants their country to lose/do badly in the Olympics.

I'm personally strongly anti-nationalist, but a humaniterrean and most of these beliefs come from watching Carl Sagan's Cosmos and reading 'The Pale Blue Dot'. I dislike the UK's aggressive, self-interested foreign policy, the way the big coorperatipns are controlling politics and screwing over the public for their benefit and the one-sided media that is slowly indoctrinating the population (although thankfully not as much as in the USA). As well as disliking the UK, I completely disagree with the principle of nationalism and dividing people based on their geographic location, but I'm sure you don't want to read any more of my rant.

I don't really care about how Britain do, but depending on opposition, I may want them to win, but more likely want them to lose.

So, am I alone? Do you blindly support 'your' country, hope they lose or just aren't bothered whatsoever?
