Of course we can! We have hosted the best modern Olympics ever, even the president of the IOC has been quoted as saying "the London 2012 Olympic games have been the most successful I have ever seen, London 2012 is the one to beat".
We did the best opening and closing ceremonies, except that load of crap brazil did for us to show what is to come in their games which is so stereotypically predictable as they have no imagination, it's not original or awe inspiring in the slightest, we will have to wait 4 years to see if I'm wrong but I doubt it.
We could possibly host the 2024 or 2028 games! There's even a chance we could do the 2020 games as we wouldn't need to spend as much money in building a new stadium and Olympic park etc, we will have to wait and see who gets the games in 2020 next year I'm not sure though if London will bid who knows!
Mayor Boris Johnson has said he expects the city to host the games again within the next 20 years due the magnificent success of these games, I think he's right as no other hosts have done such an amazing job!
There is no rule to say that they cannot. The 2016 games have already been decided in Rio, Brazil and they are not currently bidding for the 2020 games. However, if they wanted to they could host again.
This was actually the 3rd time that London has hosted the Olympics. They've also been host in 1908 and 1948. Athens, Greece; Paris, France; and Los Angeles, United States have also held the Olympics multiple times. This is of course of the Summer Olympics.

And International Olympics Committee member Frankie Fredericks says London could host it again in 2028 or 2032. Also, it wouldn't cost as much next time as stadia such as the Olympic stadium, the Velodrome and aquatics centre plus the Olympic Village are already built.

they could but it would be a long long long long...................( 2minutes later).. ....long time before they get to host it again and is unlikely, as London has hosted the Olympics three times! the first city to do that! so I think the Olympic Committee would choose another place to have its turn at hosting the Games.
Yes. It'll be a long time though. The last time they hosted was 1948. (It was going to be 1944 but obviously WW2 was still going on.)
