Don't quit. I was in the same place u were a month ago. I was a big fan of skateboarding and I wanted to become pro like Paul Rodriguez. One day I want to be like him and I wasn't motivated enough back then but now that I listened to this song: "You are appreciated by Azad Right " it motivated me to fulfill my dreams. I would always say "Ima go skate today" but I never did. Not skating every day made my dream of being a professional skater come later and that really bugged me since I always wanted to become a pro skater since I was like 10. Now I'm 14 and skating everyday and its hard to skate everyday when you live in Washington. Right now I am fully committed to become a professional skater. I have all this motivation and all that is going to skating everyday. Remember this: "It doesn't matter when you start. It matters when you finish." If you feel like you are behind in getting the tricks down, it's OK. You will get it eventually. Don't rush. Take your time. You got this.
My vote is to not quit, nothing worth doing comes easy. The longer it takes the more rewarding it will be in the end. If everyone could become a doctor in a day it wouldn't be very impressive, consequently if you could learn a 1080 in an hour no one would be impressed.
Keep up the work and practice. I got some help learning from the Social Skateboarding forum where I get all of my gear. Ask for some suggestions in their forum and check out what they have for sale.

I've been there. Popping an ollie took me a month haha. I found myself riding around more than trying tricks because tricks were just too difficult. Recently I brought my first longboard, a nice one. I've gotta say, I am enjoying longboarding wayyyyy more than I ever enjoyed skateboarding.
And besides, skateboarding has some bad long-term effects anyways.
Noo dont quit. Keep trying you will be happy as when u get your first ollie or kick flip down.
