What was the deal with the statue with the cone on its head though?

The staue is of the Duke Of Wellington. His Statue slways seems to have a traffic cone on his head courtesy of the local drunken revellers who are determined he needs it.

its a Glasgow landmark and a sign we take no-one very seriously.

It was ok but a bit cheap & cheerful. Not a patch on 2012 Olympics.

It looked like it was put together by school kids. Heaven knows what the rest of the Commonwealth thought. Too much about Gays and UNICEF.
