Why do most Olympic sprinters wear green shoes?

easier to see as they cross the finish line especially being in a very close finish with another person

It's symbolic of all the steroid use that the committee can't detect with current tests. Of course it is already known through Science that Jamaicans can't move from non-medal position to the best in the world like that unless they are using steroids. There form of it is not able to be detected with modern testing. But its a cocky way to make the statement hey we are using and you can't stop us. Just like they couldn't find the juice in Roger Clements or Lance Armstrong either. Because you know the committee can't say hey are tests aren't good enough to find the drugs but it is physically impossible for Atheletes to make that kind of gain like the Jaimacans unless they are using. That would be the same as admitting they are not doing their job correctly. So they say we have no right to tell the truth and kill the debate and then the atheletes mock all of this by wearing the green shows. Its the same as the fact that you can't comeback from that far behind swinning and beat the competition unless you are taking steriods that aren't detected by current tests.

Nike has two of the fastest elite spikes out there right now. Everyone is wearing them. Not just olympians. There shouldn't be a specific reason for the neon color, but a lot of athletes prefer to stick out right now.

You need to pay attention to the people with fire stickers on their shoes, it makes them go fast.

I'm think it's clever branding.

Green is more aerodynamic.
