Yea I'm the same way. Just tell them no I don't want to play. I tryed lacrosse thinking I would like it, I didn't so I quit. It's really not a big deal. I now enjoy what some people don't consider sports. I love snowboarding and surfing ect. I am also big in music. A lot of people aren't sports people. If you wanna have some fun or hang out with friends the join some clubs. At my school I do stagetech which is running sound for concerts and assembly's and everything which I accually get out of class sometimes for. I also wanna do acoustic guitar club where you basically just chill and play guitar and colleges recognize all these things on your reseme. So join some clubs and do some other extra curricular stuff. Hope this helps:)
Joining sports in high school makes your high school experience more fun, well in my opinion. My freshmen year, I joined about 3 sports teams, Basketball, Volleyball and Track n' Field. Now in my second year of high school, I didn't join anything and it's been really boring. So I highly suggest you join a sport team, it'll be really fun.
If they are making you play a sport, join the basketball team. Don't try at all and the coach will sit you on the bench every game almost the whole game. Thus, you will just be watching a basketball game instead of playing one.
Play with ur friends afterschool if u want.
Just tell them you don't want to, you don't have to be the same person as she is
