Christophe Lemaitre did compete in London in 2012 and he did quite well. He was the winner of his first heat in the 200 meters with a time of 20.34 seconds. In the semifinals he finished in 3rd place with a time 20.03 seconds. In the finals he finished 6th with a time of 20.19 seconds. In the 4 x 100 meter the french team finished 4th only .04 seconds behind the bronze medal winning time of Trinidad and Tobago. Even though he did not medal it was still pretty good performance.
