i would have liked to see liu xiang at least compete in the finals. the greatest hurdler ever got ousted 2x by a leg injury in 08 and an ankle injury in prelims.
After Ma's Army retired, not enough athletes have developed.
It's hard to find big and tall people in the Far East and Southeast Asia. Let alone find ones who can run, jump, and such.
There are. But they rarely make it to the finals.
there are a few, but it's not there best advent. there better off doing swimming and table tennis
