Since there are many sports and events in the Games no one person will win the Olympics they will only win their events.
Cathal, the Winter Olympics are being held in Sochi for 2014. If the person asking this question is referring to medal count then there a number of contenders such as Canada, Russia, Any country in Europe and the United States. Keep in mind this is a media creation and not an official contest among countries.
If you are talking about Hockey. Either United States or Canada. You not mentioned any event so it is really hard to answer your question.
There is no Olympics in 2014. Do you mean the World Cup? If so, it will be Germany in my opinion.
Many different countries enter many different events. Many different winners. "Have you just tuned in?" So there are winners in all(USA only uses the dark skin people for the Olympics) So a lot of Africans(by heritage) take the gold.
