Olympic Swimmer?

To have a shot at the Olympics, by age 16, you should already be nationally ranked in your best events for your age group, and you should be in J.O. program. If your coach hasn't already gone over what you need to be doing, or if you're not already placing high (preferably winning) in Zones, then you're probably not an Olympic caliber swimmer or don't have the potential to be one. Not trying to be mean, I'm just letting you know how it is.

You should research olympic coaches (past and present), and try contacting them. Also, you really should shoot for the 2016 olympics, simply due to your age. Do some research. . . contact people.

First you need a trainer i guess

Only a coach who spends every day with you and watches your progress can tell you that. No one on this site can comment on something they've never witnessed.

Hi I am I 16 year old living in the USA. I have the dream of competing in the 2020 Olympics or another one. I want to know what times I should be hitting and what I should do to train. I am training I just need to know if I am doing the correct things that will allow me to make it to the Olympics. I also want to know how do you get invited to the Olympic trail to get into the Olympics.
