NFL is king; fiscally, popularity wise, viewership, advertising, and awesomeness factor. I prefer NBA to MLB but baseball still probably has a stranglehold on number two followed by NBA and NHL.

baseball is on the huge decline especially with the steroids, in fact they did recent study and it shows that mls has caught up in terms of young viewers. Lacrosse is the fastest growing
MLB has the best attendance by far with a 162 game season. NFL has the best TV ratings. After that, what criterion do you want to use?
