The likelihood is almost zero.
There are about 18 million skateboarders in the US alone. There are only around 60 or so worldwide that make their living from skating alone.
Only about 10% get sponsored even by a local shop.
Skate because it's your passion.
Paul Rodriguez was around that age. if you can commit that hard youd need the biggest tricks down like
inward heel
laser flip
360 flip
impossible
front foot impossible
late underflips
360 ollies
and so on.
you can get sponsored and work your way up depending on your style
you can be a pro street skater or a pro vert skater. youd first need to be sponsored as time goes aim for sponsorship within 2 years and make a sick video of many clips.
you go from sponsored, amatuer, to pro.
with companies giving you gear, you get promotions, your basicly In the team, and if your lucky enough you go pro.
It's highly unlikely. You chances are on the order of 0.00003% of becoming a pro-skater who makes enough money from skating to support himself. There are a fair number of sponsored skaters, and there are some that make some money from skating, but very few make enough money from skating where it's their only means of income.
Who cares, just skate.
