It was an absolute load of rubbish!!. I am born and bred in Britain but could hardly understand what was going on so what chance did the rest of the world have? Totally boring.
I totally disagree. I thought it was brilliant, really creative and showed a lot of Britain's history through music and famous actors and characters. I'm from Ireland.
I must admit to some trepidation beforehand - but was more than delighted at they way it turned out.
Eccentric, whimsical, and possessed of the one thing that Beijing never manged - humour. My kids are still talking about Mr Bean.
I live in the u.s.a. and i saw it on the televison but it looked astonishing to me i really did like it but of course this was my first time seeing the olympic games xD
Hi from France ?
I missed it, because of I watched NCIS ...
Have a nice day
Cat.
Well, giving where they are financially, I think they gave a nice, quick, splended performance.
Personally I live in London and have watched the build up to this from day one, and I can honestly say it was a load of crap, I've had so many people text and phone me during it saying it was so much rubbish and that there going to bed. I think the first mistake they made was using Danny Boyle, the y should of got Andrew Lloyd Webber to do it, at the end of the day who does a tribute to the nhs, also the internet tribute the little boy hugging the man, it was impossible to know what was going on. Then the egotistical Beckham driving the boat with his hair not even blowing might i add and it was just a direction-less piece of crap. Beijing still holds the title and im sure it always will.
My verdict 4/10 for effort in this multicultural crap called a ceremony.
