Keep on practicing! That is the only key to success is lots of practice and patients. I have been through the same thing but with my bike. I had to practice and practice day and night. You will eventually get there. And it is okay to cry if you don't land a trick. Just cry! It is so okay for guys to cry. And I know the feeling to get emotional when I don't get something perfect or right the first few times. Just remember to be safe and confident. That is the only way to get better at it!
Don't even worry about it! I can't even ride a skateboard for very long, (I can't figure out how to control the direction it's going in without falling). There are plenty of other things you're good at first of all. An example, music, singing or an instrument, running, swimming, even communicating, any other sports, building, artistic things, school... I don't know what you're good at but you're definitely good at a lot of things. Is it skateboarding that's making you angry or is it that something's wrong inside and when something negative happens like not being able to do a trick that it reminds you of how that something else is also wrong? Are your friends pushing you into it and you're trying to fit in and you're not able to connect with them on that level so you feel like you're not good friends with them?
If you want to get better at skateboarding why don't you try doing some researching online like how to improve your skateboarding, tips for skateboarding/tricks,
NEVER doubt yourself. Keep practicing cause I'm sure you know practice makes perfect. You've got to believe in yourself, Don't get emotional if you fail at something straight away because then there's no point of trying.Instead pick yourself up and try again , I guarantee you'll achieve a lot more this way.
Do you think the Vulcans learned to fight back emotion and keep trying, overnight? No, you must practice, practice, practice. Harness the emotion for good.
Don't give up
