Kitty, I doubt you are British. I cannot understand why one has to rename them. I doubt that many share your point of view as they do seem to have a few followers
Yes! The games certainly have changed since 776 BC, but the bottom line of having competition hasn't. And besides, with the whole world involved now, they would never be able to come up with a new name that would satisfy over half of the countries!
Well it has been called the Modern Olympics since 1896, I dont think they will change it now.
If you keep it ancient, nobody will watch it.
