If you feel embarrassed about this try telling your mum or the director. If this is not possible for you you can try switching martial arts. I would suggest Muay Thai. Muay Thai is like Kick-boxng. Only this time they teach you how to punch, kick, knee, elbow and they even teach you how to grapple! If you cannot do something about this when you get to train forget everything and focus on the fight. Use determination because if you want to get out of there you must get promoted. Don't worry. we all have to start somewhere. there are others that star at 14 and 15!
Unless the teacher is willing to put in extra time with you so you can learn techniques that are at your level of understanding and maturity I would find another school. This might work out at the beginning for the very basics but you will soon be beyond that. What is taught in kids classes and adult classes is two very different things. Only commercial schools throw everything together and don't care who progresses and who doesn't.
You should grow up and stop acting like a child who is too obsessed with his own self-image. You are there to learn, not to glorify yourself.
Ok, so my parents agreed on me doing a sport and that I should take karate. I'm a freshman, and when I spoke with the director, he said that the only person who is oldest one is a 12 year old girl. In fact, the group is full of 7-10 year olds. Is this embarrassing? What should I do?
