Should paintball be an Olympic sport?

Paintballing is not a sport of any kind whatsoever so the answer to your question is a BIG NO

You could say the same things about a jigsaw competition.

Paintball has nothing to do with the Olympic ideals. So no.

Air rifle and trap shooting are already Olympic sports and it would make sense to take sports based on accuracy and turn them into competitive, head to head challenges.

Personally, I'd love to see some competitions based in natural settings rather than using inflatable barriers, it would be awesome to see the arenas changing as well, such as the Brazilian rainforests, the Australian outback, etc.

That would be sick! I would love that. It would be my favorite event.

To many people the game of paintball is just playing army in the woods with your friends. But there is another side to it that ALOT of people don't even know about. It is a fast paced, intense, exciting game where teams from all over the world compete to be number 1. If you want to have a look at tournament paintball before you answer just go to YouTube and search tournament paintball. There are plenty of videos that portray the sport for what it is. And yes, it IS a sport. It takes fitness, tactics/game plans, and above all dedication. Here is a link if you CBA to go o YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2I5RyO8iWds&feature=youtube_gdata_player

So as you can see I for one think it should be a mainstream sport. I would love to see it in the Olympics but even just for it to be televised would be a start. I mean they show sports like golf and tennis... REALLY boring...
