I think that the logo may contain some meanings that we don't know and they try to work more on the meaning then the beauty and shape of it. But as a matter of fact I think that the shape of it is not good at all.
I think it's pretty cool.
When I was in London in May, and took the Olympic Walk Tour, they said the logo was specifically designed to look modern and like graffiti to attract youngsters to sports.

Brilliant. Original. Different. A masterpiece in design. The design team should be congratulated. Its not any other countries opinion that counts. I've seen Rio's design, its the usual, boring 5 rings and usual background. Ours is fantastic. It was the winner out of many submitted designs. I saw them all. You state most people hate it. Not true.
I didn't like it at first but now I like it.Because all the people are saying its bad people think that they have to not like it to be cool.I am British.
It is a logo - nothing more, nothing less. Just simple recognition.
If you look at the yellow version it looks like Lisa Simpson giving Bart a blowie! lol

I was wondering what your opinon of the 2012 logo is. I, personally think its rubbish and a 5yr old could have done better. Also what country are you from. I know that most british people hate it and I was wondering about the other countries
