Natural protein that contain high amino acids; egg whites, bison, chicken, fish
Branching off of what Rod said I would definitely use a high quality and effective protein powder. I have been using the vanilla flavored whey protein powder that beachbody makes http://www.beachbody.com/product/supplem... .
Not only is it highly effective, the taste is amazing. I add it to fruit smoothies for an extra boost. Again read the recommendations and make sure it is something that will be the most effective for your body.
I agree with az desert rat. Get a high quality powder form of protein that is sufficient for the results you want. Also remember to get plenty of fluids and fiber while adding more protein to your diet. Added protein can constipate you and make your stools very hard and uncomfortable. Protein is completely safe to use if the quality is high and its used as directed.
