It was not illegal. It was perfectly fair and legitimate. Yuna's spins and spirals were inferior to Adelina's, Adelina did seven triples to Yuna's six, and had more difficult jumps in the second half of the program where bonus points are awarded.
This petition is a disgrace and you should all be ashamed of yourselves for daring to want to take a deserved medal away from a young girl who has done NOTHING WRONG.
Oh, and more ignorance and idiocy I see - there is NO UPPER AGE LIMIT FOR FIGURE SKATING. There is a minimum age limit, but no maximum. If Yuna chooses not to skate in Korea, that's her choice. (And I hope it's a choice she gets to make, and she's not forced into skating.)
Sotnikova's free skating program score is second highest in olympic history and is margins away from Kim Yuna's amazing performance in Vancouver 2010. Someone please explain how this makes any sense. Second best performance in olympic history.. im expecting no falls or stumbles.. which Sotnikova clearly has in hers

I have seen the slow video version and comparisons made by professionals. Adelina really deserved gold medal
