Train boxing/kickboxing/muay Thai mixed with bjj then u won't have a problem like that again...I would also include judo but there is a low learning curve there and may not help when panic comes..bjj has the same problem but it is absolutely essential---it is perfect for defending urself from the ground because u WILL be taken down...start with wrist locks, kimura locks (have a transition ready because a trained opponent may escape), triangle chokes, guillotine chokes both while ur on ur back and also master heel hooks and other leg holds
Next time something like that happens, back away and call the police or talk to your manager. He is the one paid to deal with it.
You could take some self defense. Might be good for your confidence and good exercise as well.
Or you can learn the art of the sucker punch...
The best idea is to prepare by learning a martial art. This will give you confidence, and teach you to deal with situations like this if it hapens again. But this is only preparation, the best thing to do is call the police if possible and if it occurs again
There is no magic to learning to defend yourself. Life is not like the movies. You will need to train long and hard under expert guidance. If there was an easier way, we'd all be doing that.
I've been doing Judo for a few months and I love it. Nothing asserts your dominance better than a nice hip throw or armbar. As for being able to punch? Boxing obviously or muay thai
Go to a boxing gym or a mma gym and learn how to slip head and body punches, learn how to throw a jab, and learn to duck and tackle someone to the ground.
yeah. if you want to learn to fight, study a martial art. otherwise learn to defuse situations like that. and where was the manager?

I cant fight and tips please?
So friday night I work as an usher at my local movie theater and we officialy close at 10:30 but this couple came at 11:20 almost an hour late so the guy was banging on the door hard and I told him to stop and that we are closed. After he called me a fat ***** for not letting him in and I got upset so I told him to calm down and he basically challenged me to a fight which he shoved my face first. I got my nose busted and got a few hits in but man I suck major at defending myself and I really feel bad. Cab anyone please give me some advise?
