You want to loose your weight. So I think sports training equipment are best tool for you that helps you to learn different sports specific skills as well as helps to reduce weight. So start using them.
First you should go to Gymnasium because you'll find your answer there.
you can train Weightlifting at any club or Gymnasium.
You can't decide how much you can lift now because you have to start from minimum weight first, after that you can increase weight slowly. They will teach you all at Gymnasium.
Remember don't try to lift any weight without any coach or trainer, it might make u injure.

Isn't the weight lifting like boxing? Don't they have different weight classes? Like bantam, heavy weight, etc. ? *Call a weight lifting gym and find out.
Contact your local Gymnasium. They will not only be able to provide you with a good and SAFE training programme, but will also be able to tell you what weight you ought to be able to lift.
I am talking about Olympic Weightlifting..I am in the 62 kg category.....I am 16 and new to the sport?Also where should I train for it?In the gym or where?
