Because the US and a few South American countries are the only ones who play it. The rest of the world couldn't care less.
Think of it this way: there's a reason baseball is called the "all-American sport".
Not enough countries play baseball for it to be in the olympics. However, it was in the last olmpics. So i guess it is an "olympic sport", it's just not a serious contender
1. Not enough countries play baseball
2. IOC doesn't like games that don't have a set duration
3. IOC want male/female parity therefore they'd have to bring back softball
4. Not enough countries play softball
5. No-one wants the expense of building a couple of ballparks
6. The USA would find it impossible to find 25 players who could pass a drugs test
It's not really international, only USA japan and some spanish speaking counties play baseball, they would dominate, same reason they took softball out.
I wondered the same thing, USA, Cuba, DR, PR, most south American countries play, Japan plays. My guess is that it would take a long time lol
Baseball sucks
It's barely a sport much less an Olympic sport. Much rather watch a game of chess. The participants expend just about the same amount of energy compared to a real sport.
Because it is ****, it's basically rounders lol. Hardly any countries play it apart from in America, so they'd win every time like with the basketball so what is the point?
If I remember correctly, most of the people that thought baseball sucked are the same ones that think shooting is physically demanding.

Because synchronized swimming and speed walking are much better.
they already have a world series , which only one country ever play, and that is the u.s.a.
1) cause it is only american game
2) it is boring
baseball is much funner to watch than a bunch of fairies kicking a ball around like they do in soccer.
Because, apparently ,the rest of the world finds ping pong and badminton awesome, both of which actually suck.
Its a crap game that not many people play internationally.
Its the same as if we had cricket in them.
It's more of an awesome American sport, not like crappy soccer or cricket.
Coz it sucks and nobody in the world really plays it.
