An elementary class takes 15 minutes to walk a mile. In middle school, we were required to be fit enough to run one mile in 12 minutes. In high school they just wanted your time to improve. It's different for every person, and how long it takes you will change over time of consistent practice. I take 11 and a half minutes, I'm considered slow. I'm also a long distance runner, I don't run for speed. Sprinters can have as low as 6 minute miles, which is crazy good. Depending on whether you are heavy, have asthma, etc, you could be really slow, or maybe you're transitioning from another sport and the skills you've gained will help you in running. Try it out, and you'll have your answer.
I would say between 12 and 18 minutes (some peoples jog are another persons sprint though)
Faster than 7 minutes is running, slower than 7 minutes is jogging.
You will have no sure answer. Your personal statisics will juge that. Me, i walk 2 miles in 15 minutes each morning and 30 minutes every afternoon (monday-friday school days
