Don't look like a poser. If you can actually skate, then it's fine, but you don't want to be that guy who just walks around with his board all the time. Really, they piss me off. I've been skateboarding all my life, and these posers just want to ride the current wave of popularity to look cool. Skateboarding is not just a look or a fashion statement. It's a way of life.
