So I've really been learning to skateboard lately. The only trick I know so far is the ollie, and I can only get about 4 inches in the air. I'm starting to wear skating brand t-shirts and hoodies such as The Hundreds, Volcom, ect. I wear Nike SB shoes to school. I don't really know many famous skaters or teams. I'm not friends with any skaters from school (not yet at least). So would you consider me a poser? By the way i'm a guy and almost 16 (high school sophomore).

I've been skating for many years and I'm really good and I hang out with people that are all sponsored. I ride for a skate shop and for nike sb. But youre not a poser if you really feel it in your soul that you love it. If you are a skateboarder you will know it in your heart and you know if you love it so much you will be doing it for as long as you can. Dont worry about what others think either. Just skate because it is the best thing in the world.

If you dress in the major skateboarding brands just for the sole purpose of looking cool, then you might be a poser. But since you said you can Ollie and trying to improve, you're nowhere near a poser :)
