You seem to be a real skater. I skated for a long time but only got down my ollies, boneless, and a couple more tricks that took no real skill, so I felt behind and made me feel like people though I was a poser, but I started actually skating a week or two ago, and already landing kickflips, dolphin flips, 180's, varial flips, pop shuv's, nollie, and lots of other stuff I literally thought were impossible for me. If you feel like a poser because you can't do much, don't let it push you back. Just put a time into it, watch videos, and all that and you'll be doing good in no time. Skating around everywhere is good as well, it get you used to your board which will help a LOT in the long run. Good luck skating, and again, don't let the thought of being seen as a poser stop you.
You're only a poser when you either claim you skate when you don't, say that you can do things when you can't, or if you skate for the wrong reasons. Other than that as long as you skate because you love it then you're a real skater regardless of your skill level or what brand of board you ride.
You're not a poser, most posers dress like skaters but walk around holding their board like it's some fashion accessory. You ride your board everywhere, so no.
You sound like a poser. Only a poser would say "I talk like a skater, I walk like a skater, I dress like a skater". If you ride a skateboard, you ride a skateboard. If you engage in the culture, then you engage in the culture,... but emulating something because it is seemingly related to skateboarding = poser.
Don't worry about what you do. Just act like yourself and find the category you fit in. If you love to skate and just regularly find out that you dress skater-like without having to plan or think about it, you don't pose. But if you have to think about what color Vans you want to wear every day because you wanna look like "them," then you would be considered as a poser. Just go with the flow and don't think about it much.
If you really love skating and you just wanna skate. You're a skater. If you're so worried about how you look then you're a poser.
