He did NOT get suspended, but fined, with a suspended fine for 2 years. I only know of two others who displayed the gesture - Brendan Goddard, to show he supported his brother who had just been jailed for cocaine distribution, and Andrew Krakouer.
I much prefer players to do the chain saw. which i haven't seen a player do for a while. Dusty was lucky to just get a fine. as the AFL dislike players who make this gesture. period! Cheers.
