Completely wrong section...this is AFL, Australian Football. That fight would not go beyond 6 rounds. Cooney was a chump whose record was beefed up fighting no name fighters. When he finally fought opponents with any credibility he was severely beaten. Tucker was a decent amateur fighter, who got into the ring with Lennox Lewis (lost), Buster Douglas (won) and other more genuine fighters. Cooney had a glass jaw. I have Tucker knocking him out by Round 6.

Cooney won the Brownlow, didn't know his nickname was Gerry though, don't know any Tony Tucker in the AFL, so I'll go with Coons in this enthralling battle.
The only winner would be the promoter, IF he could get enough bums in seats for the reasons previously given ^^^.
Hi...I think Tucker would win..Cooney had trouble with tiring early and would be hard pressed to go past 6 or 7 rounds without being tired, worn down and then too careless.
